Tyler Hewitt was recently featured in recognition of more than a decade of work as a photographer and longtime Studio Art professor at Moraine Valley Community College. For Hewitt, photography is more than a form of artistic expression. It is a calling that keeps him connected to Chicago, its people, and the world around him. As he approaches retirement, his photography and the impact of his work will continue well beyond his years in the classroom.
