On the left hand side, there is an area for you to type in your zip code. You should type in your nine digit code if you know it. If you only know your five digit zip code that is fine to start with, as once you type this in and click GO, the next page will have an area on the far right side for you to find your nine digit zip code if you don’t already know it titled: “Don’t Know Your 9-Digit ZIP?”. This will open a new browser that takes you to the USPS website to type in your address in order to find your nine digit zip code. This is important as most five digit zip codes have multiple legislative districts and we should be contacting only our respective Illinois House of Representative, Senator, and of course, Governor Quinn. It is not difficult.
