The Moraine Valley Faculty Association, Support Staff Association, and Adjunct Faculty Organization congratulates the MV professional staff on the successful ratification of the new agreement that establishes their new bargaining unit on our campus. This is a historic moment in the history of our college.
This agreement is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and collaboration of the professional negotiating team and the members of the professional union. We commend them for their efforts to secure a fair and equitable contract for the professional staff, who play a vital role in the academic success and well-being of the students and the community. Our college could not be successful without the work of the professionals. We thank you for this vital work.
We also congratulate the Moraine Valley Board of Trustees and administrators for their work in reaching this agreement. We appreciate their willingness to engage in respectful and constructive dialogue with the professional union, and their recognition of the value and contributions of the professional staff.
The faculty, adjunct faculty, and support staff are excited to work in partnership with the new Professional Association for the betterment of the college. We believe that together, with the professionals, administration and Board of Trustees, we can continue to innovate and advocate to meet the needs of students and the larger community.
