High school students from Evergreen Park Community High School showcased exceptional welding skills during Moraine Valley Community College’s annual high school welding competition, securing first place among participants from four schools. The competition, part of an initiative to expose more students to the trades and potential careers in advanced manufacturing, also included educational activities and was supported by local and national organizations aiming to meet the growing demand for skilled welders.
