The Moraine Valley Faculty Association Scholarship Committee, Chaired by Professor Nick Hackett, has awarded 9 scholarships for the Fall 2012 semester. The scholarships will be formally awarded to the students at the January 2013 in-service meeting.
Scholarship recipients are :

- Salhab Awadallah
- Geena Abbott
- Halina Myrda
- Kimberly Snyder
- Lindsay Bartholemew
Each student will receive a $500 book scholarship. Students must be nominated by a faculty member, and they must meet academic, community service, and need-based requirements.
